Daniel Larley has placed a new wire across the river and larger pulleys than those used before upon the same, for the purpose of doing the ferrying untl the new bridge is built." From the Daily Telegraph, April 29, 1881: "Yesterday the ferry boat Daniel Larley, renamed the "Enterprise" was launched on the eastern side of the river."
